How Many Times?

I've been giving this a lot of thought here lately. How many times do we have to hear the same thing over and over and over again before we get it? It's probably a million. That's what it feels like at least. Do you agree?

I mean think about it... how many times have you heard "pay off your debt! heres how!" or "need to lose weight? heres how!" or "need to manage your time better? heres how!" or "want to make your family more of a priority? heres how!"

and then we STILL find ourselves saying, "I'm never going to pay this off.. I'm going to be in debt forever" or "I will never be able to lose this weight.. I'm just going to be depressed and unhappy with myself forever" or "I never have time to do ANYTHING. All I can do is wake up, get everyone out the door, work, feed my family and crash.. I guess this is "normal" and I'll always just have to say "I don't have time"' or "If I want to feed my kids, keep the lights on and keep all my plates spinning I will never be able to have THAT life where you can have the freedom to BE a family..."

Seriously. How many times have you caught yourself saying any or ALL of those things??

ALL THE TIME knowing you have all the KNOWLEDGE and OPPORTUNITIES to CHANGE.

That's the kicker. 99% of us {because there may be a small minority that truly have never been exposed to ways of change} have ALL the skills, knowledge and opportunities to do ALL those things we want to do. The PROBLEM is that we REALLY don't want to change. Something about the STRUGGLE is familiar and makes us feel in control. Isn't that messed up?

Have debt? Buckle down and figure out how to get out. It's NOT impossible. It may take major sacrifices. It may take years. But won't you be better in the long run for getting out? YES.

Want to be healthier? Plug into one of my challenge groups. Clean eating, drinking your water, working out 30 minutes a day, having people rally behind you to keep you accountable. YOU KNOW THIS. You just have to DO it.

Need to manage your time better? Take a long hard look at your TRUE priorities. Do you NEED to sleep "in"? Can you get up 30 minutes earlier? Can you listen to an audiobook on your commute to help grow yourself through personal development? Pick your TOP THREE things you need to do DAILY and focus on THAT.

Want to be more present with your family? Create a life that you can CHOOSE to be 100% there for. Does that mean focusing in ALL of the areas mentioned above? Does it mean working hard now for a life you can enjoy later? SURE DOES. Would that be worth it to you? IT SHOULD BE.

I don't want this to be a "coaching post" because thats not my intention at all. If you're inspired to contact me because you KNOW you need to change and something has to give and you need help through health/fitness or business, you KNOW I'm always here to help with ALL of those things.

My main reason for making this is HOW MANY TIMES do you have to hear the answers you need before you choose to LISTEN?? How many times do you have to "listen" before you ACT? How many??

Think about it. What if you had heard the answer, truly listened and ACTED on it 6 weeks ago, 6 months ago, a year ago, two years ago... where would you be NOW?? 

Do you GET IT now??

When it's 6 weeks from now, 6 months from now, a year from now, 2 years from now... how do you want to feel? Do you want to know I LISTENED, I HEARD, I ACTED. And know you're BETTER for it? Or do you want to feel exactly how you feel now?

I know that I want to know that I listened. I heard. I acted. That I'm BETTER for it.

If you've read all of this, NOW you KNOW better. It's time for you to DO better. You're worth it <3
