Why SIZE doesn't matter

What's funny about health & fitness is everyone thinks they know everything. People have VERY strong opinions about who they feel is qualified to give them health advice and who isn't.

Take nutrition for example. Most people feel that whatever their primary care physician recommends is gold! I'm not going to say they are wrong with whatever they suggest; however, they spend VERY little time in any type of classes or training that has to do with nutrition and health and much more time focusing on anatomy, biology, chemistry and whatever their specialty is.

This is why there are soooooooo many different types of doctors and very single one has a different approach and opinion as to what they feel is best for you.

Same goes for those who are not doctors. Everyone has an opinion and everyone LOVES to share what they think ;) You know it's true!

Before I became a Beachbody coach I did my research. There were VERY few (in fact there was ONE known plus size Beachbody coach at the time) and my #1 question was "can you even be a coach, let alone a successful coach, when you're plus size?!"

The answer - YES.

What I didn't know at the time is that my decision to become a coach even though I didn't have a before/after, my journey would be long, my story would be veryyyyy different from other coaches, is that I would become the trailblazer.

I would become the one who goes first and paves the way so that other women who want to follow in my footsteps, can.

One of the things I hear most frequently when people are interested in learning more about what I do or wanting to become a coach themselves is, "I just don't think anyone would take advice from me. I can't coach anyone because I still have ____ amount of weight to lose myself!"

Look - and I'm going to be blunt here - Beachbody coaching is NOT about ME telling YOU what to do. I am not a trainer. I am not a certified nutritionist. I am not a paid spokesperson making $$$ whenever someone says the word Shakeology.

No way jose.

I am a wife, mom, daughter and friend. I am a woman who strives to be better than I was yesterday. I am someone who looks for the holistic approach. I am a woman who has struggled her entire life and knows what that looks and feels like. I am a woman who is confident in the community I've found with Beachbody. I am hopeful that with MY STORY I can help inspire someone else to create change in their life too.

In 2015 my coach and friend asked me if she could interview me on my tips for being a successful plus size Beachbody coach. I was flattered! But I also struggled with how I could share this because at the end of the day, I don't do anything differently than anyone else.

I work on myself and use the products.
I invite others to do it with me.
I read personal development.
I publicly recognize the hard work from my challengers to my coaches.

I encourage you to check out the Podcast below and be ready to take notes. I will share some of the struggles and what it's like to GO FIRST.

Maybe you will be the FIRST in your circle of friends to take the plunge, focus on yourself and inspire others to do it too. I went first for Beachbody so you can go first in your circles.

This opportunity is for ANYONE.

No matter your size.
No matter your weight.
No matter your pants size.
No matter your BMI.
No matter your medical diagnosis.
No matter WHAT.

You have to be able to go out there, be STRONG, courageous and resilient. Show the world that YOU ARE WORTH IT and I PROMISE you will inspire others just by doing that.

The success in the business follows your dedication to your strength, spirit and steadfastness.

You are worth it.
You are able.
You are capable.
You are qualified.

Don't let anyone or anything ever tell you or make you feel differently.

If you would like to be personally mentored by me so you can build your own business like I have, click here and I will be in touch soon <3
